Pixels & Pieces Values & Accessibility Policy

A Living Document & A Friendly Space

As a neurodivergent business owner and a Certified Neurodivergent Accessible Provider, I know that the traditional business world wasn’t built for brains like ours. I’ve experienced the weight of external pressure paralysis, the sting of Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD), and the frustration of time blindness and object permanence.

This policy isn’t just a legal checkbox; it is my commitment to creating a space where I can meet you exactly where you are. I aim to be as flexible as I can.

My Ongoing Commitment

I acknowledge that creating accessibility is an ongoing process, not a destination. I commit to:

  • Regularly auditing our practices for unintentional barriers
  • Creating content that represents diverse experiences
  • Addressing biases and harmful practices when they arise
  • Continuously educating ourselves on accessibility

Pixels & Pieces Stands Against

I explicitly reject and stand against:

  • Racism, antisemitism, and xenophobia in all forms
  • Transphobia, homophobia, and gender-based discrimination
  • Ableism and neurotypical supremacy
  • Economic exploitation and classism
  • Religious discrimination and intolerance
  • Age-based discrimination and stereotyping
  • Body shaming and fatphobia
  • White supremacy and colonialism

Core Values: Communication, Grace, & Equity

Specific Actions & Policies:

1. Low-Pressure, Flexible Communication

  • Flexible Options: You can choose your preferred communication channel (email, video calls, forms) for any stage of our work together. Please let me know during our first communication what your preferences are and I can plan our project accordingly. Group classes have live and asynchronous options built in.
  • Camera Optional: During video calls, you are welcome to keep your camera off.
  • Notes & Transcripts: I provide these for every meeting so you don’t have to worry about missing details.
  • Closed Captioning: Available for all live calls upon request.
  • Brain Dumps Welcome: My intake forms include space for you to share your thoughts unfiltered.

  1. Clear & Direct Communication
  • Clear Instructions: Whether it’s an intake form, homework, or a project milestone, I provide clear, easy-to-follow steps so you always know what to expect next and where we are in our project or class together.
  • Plain Language: I commit to explaining business concepts without unnecessary jargon. If I use a technical term, I will define it.
  • Direct Communication: If a process or outcome isn’t feeling right for you, I invite you to tell me directly. I am happy to take on constructive feedback at any time so I can continually improve my services and accessibility. Group classes have an anonymous feedback form as part of the course.
  • Response Times: I will respond within 48 business hours (Mon–Thu, 9:00am–5:00pm ATL). Please note that I do not accept unscheduled phone calls, texts, or DMs

2. The “Life Happens” Grace Policy

  • No-Shame Rescheduling: If you are experiencing a low-capacity day, I offer a no-questions-asked rescheduling policy. I just ask that you communicate with me when you can.
  • Automated Support: My system sends calendar invites and reminders.

3. Equity & Access

  • Equitable Participation: I tailor my services for entrepreneurs at every level of capability. I can provide no live touch required services. Brand audits are done asynchronous, group classes have recordings, and 1:1 projects can use Canva for feedback. Please request this level of service during our first communication.
  • Tiered Services: I offer a low-cost audit, group classes, and high-touch 1:1 projects.
  • Payment Plans: Larger 1:1 projects are eligible for monthly payment plans.
  • Support Organizations: All of my services can be funded through entrepreneur serving organizations. Please inquire as to current availability and eligibility.
